  • Charges dismissed

    Stand Your Ground motion granted

    The court granted a Stand Your Ground (self-defense immunity) motion under section 776.032, Florida Statutes, dismissing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

  • Appeal

    Conviction overturned on appeal

    On appeal, the Fourth District Court of Appeal reversed a juvenile client’s trespass adjudication and ordered the charge dismissed.

  • Charges dropped

    Multiple felony charges dismissed

    The State dismissed all charges, including drug trafficking, cocaine possession with intent to sell, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, by entering a nolle prosequi after determining that law enforcement’s actions would result in suppression of the evidence.

  • Judgment vacated

    Favorable ruling for the client

    After a hearing, the court granted the client’s motion to vacate a default and final judgment in a Department of Revenue child-support case, setting aside the judgment and the resulting income-withholding (wage garnishment) order so the case could be defended on the merits.
