Litigation

When a dispute has to be decided by a judge, preparation is what carries the case.

Not every matter settles. When a dispute has to be decided in court, what matters is preparation, judgment about which facts actually carry weight, and someone who is genuinely comfortable in a courtroom.

Meeghan built that foundation as an Assistant Public Defender, first in Broward County and later in Lake County, trying cases that ranged from second-degree misdemeanors to matters where the State sought the death penalty. She brings extensive motion practice and trial experience to every case she handles.

She is also known for her research and writing, and is often the colleague other attorneys turn to for help with a difficult issue. That work happens long before a hearing, and it is usually what decides the outcome.

About Meeghan

A broad perspective on every case

Over her career, Meeghan has built a deliberately broad legal background, handling matters in probate, estate planning, real estate, family law, dependency, domestic violence injunctions and more. That range is an advantage for her clients: she sees how the pieces of a case fit together, weighs each issue from several angles, and builds a strategy tailored to your goals. Thoughtful, creative, and genuinely invested, Meeghan is committed to the best possible outcome for the people she represents.
