A criminal charge is not a conviction and you don’t have to face it alone. Meeghan defends clients against misdemeanor and felony charges, protecting your rights and your future at every stage, from first appearance through trial.

Meeghan brings extensive motion practice and trial experience to every case she handles, work that has ranged from second-degree misdemeanors to cases in which the State sought the death penalty.

Her path into criminal defense started early. In high school, she worked at her father’s law firm, doing everything from answering calls to researching legal issues and helping prepare cases for trial. She spent hours observing court, drawn to the think-on-your-feet challenge of litigation.

After law school, Meeghan began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, representing juveniles and adults facing misdemeanor and felony charges. The role gave her deep courtroom and trial experience and a strong foundation for private practice. More recently, she served at the Lake County Public Defender’s Office, defending adults charged with misdemeanors and felonies. Known for her research and writing, Meeghan is often the colleague other attorneys turn to for help with difficult cases.

The firm also has Hilliard Moldof of counsel, a criminal defense attorney in his fiftieth year of practice and board certified in criminal trial law by The Florida Bar.
