Overview

Moldof Law, P.A. respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how that information is used, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website only. It does not cover information you give the firm directly by phone, by mail, or during representation.

Information you provide

This website has no contact forms and does not ask you to submit any personal information. There is nothing on this site for you to fill out. If you choose to call or email the firm using the contact details provided, you do so voluntarily, and the firm will use that information only to respond to you. Please see the note below about not sending confidential information.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. Analytics are provided by a third-party service on the firm’s behalf.

No analytics cookies are placed on your device unless you accept them. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are stored, and only anonymous, cookieless signals about the visit are sent.

If you accept, analytics cookies are set and the following may be collected:

• the pages you view and how long you spend on them
• an approximate location, at the city or region level, derived from your IP address
• your device type, browser, operating system, and screen size
• the website or search that referred you
• certain actions, including selecting “Schedule a Consultation,” selecting a phone number or email link, opening an FAQ, opening a case result, and opening a practice area page

This information is used in aggregate to improve the website. The firm does not use it to identify you personally, and does not combine it with any client information.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of any page. Declining stops analytics cookies from being set on this site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

How long information is kept

User-level and event-level analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is deleted. Aggregate reports, such as the total number of visits in a month, are retained indefinitely.

Information you send the firm directly, such as an email or a voicemail, is kept only as long as needed to respond to you, to check for conflicts of interest, and to meet the firm’s legal and professional obligations. It is then disposed of in the ordinary course of business.

No other third-party tracking

This website hosts its own fonts and does not load fonts, scripts, images, or advertising from third-party networks. Apart from the analytics described above, no third party receives information about you simply because you loaded a page on this site. There are no advertising or social media trackers.

Scheduling a consultation

The “Schedule a Consultation” buttons take you to a booking page hosted by Clio Grow at moldoflaw.cliogrow.com. That page is operated by Clio, not by this website. Any information you enter there is collected and processed by Clio on the firm’s behalf and is subject to Clio’s own privacy policy. Please do not include confidential details about your legal matter when booking.

Text messages

If you give the firm a mobile number and opt in to receive text messages, the firm may send messages such as appointment confirmations, reminders, and replies to your questions. How often you receive messages depends on the reason for the message.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers are shared only with the service providers that deliver messages on the firm’s behalf, and only for that purpose.

How information is used and shared

The firm uses website information to operate and improve the site and to respond to inquiries. The firm does not sell personal information and does not share it with third parties for advertising. Information is shared only with the service providers described in this policy, and where required by law.

Your rights over your data

Because this website has no forms and no accounts, there is usually very little information to request. If you have contacted the firm directly, you may ask what personal information the firm holds about you, ask for a copy of it, ask that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted. Send any request to info@moldof.law and the firm will respond within a reasonable time.

The firm may need to keep certain information despite a deletion request, including records it is required to retain as a matter of professional responsibility, records relating to a current or former representation, and anything needed to meet legal, accounting, or conflict-of-interest obligations.

Security

The firm takes reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Email and internet communications are not secure. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information by email or through the scheduling tool before an attorney-client relationship has been established in writing. See our Disclaimer for more.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and the firm does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other websites

This website links to third-party sites, including the online scheduling tool and publicly available court opinions. The firm is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this policy

The firm may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. If features are added that collect more information, such as contact forms, live chat, call tracking, or an email newsletter, this policy will be updated to describe them.
