Meeghan Moldof is the founder of Moldof Law, where she represents clients throughout Florida. Originally from South Florida, she now calls Lake County home and she’s as invested in this community as she is in her clients’ cases.

Education and courtroom roots
Meeghan earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. She began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, defending both juveniles and adults against misdemeanor and felony charges, work that gave her the courtroom instincts and trial experience she still draws on today.
A broad, practical approach
In private practice, Meeghan has built a deliberately broad legal background. Probate and estate planning are at its heart, and her work reaches well beyond them, into family law, real estate, dependency, domestic violence injunctions, and the many other matters families bring through her door. That range lets her see the bigger picture in every case and meet challenges with creativity and care. Clients count on her to think outside the box and to work alongside them toward practical, personalized solutions.
Giving back to the community
Giving back has always mattered to Meeghan. Her decision to attend law school grew out of her work with the Guardian ad Litem Program, advocating for children in court proceedings, work she later continued as a volunteer. She was honored to play a role in the adoption of multiple children, an experience that remains especially meaningful to her. She has since served as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in family law cases.

That spirit of service shows up throughout the year. Meeghan has coordinated holiday toy drives, collecting gifts for children in the foster care system, and school supply drives that help stock Lake County classrooms for the year ahead.
Today, Meeghan is President of the Lake County Bar Association, serves on the Board of Directors for the Education Foundation of Lake County, and is an alternate member of the Lake County Opioid Task Force. Outside the office, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family.
In the news
In October 2018, Meeghan represented a teenager who was punched by a Coral Springs police officer during an arrest. Video of the arrest drew national attention, and her comments on the officer’s use of force were carried by news outlets across the country.
